1986-90
I also studied and continue to study those patterns which are not only found in mathematics but also in our belief systems whether they are based on different systems of religions -: Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Traditional belief systems or different social theories, such as Marxism or Laissez-Faire Liberalism.
1991-95
Over the past 13 years I have continued my work using a more intuitive approach to making and am concerned with those issues, which affect the environment, women and other cultures, that are economically disadvantaged - in particular Senegal.
1995-96 Inspired by my experiences of the Casamance in Senegal and the notion of the hearth in traditional societies. I returned home to consider the notion of the hearth in my own culture today.
1996-2000
I became interested in Archeology after my residencies in two museums: - Centre de Recherches et de Documentation du Senegal -Saint-Louis and Fishbourne Roman Palace -West Sussex.
2001-2002
This work was inspired by my experiences of living close to water:- the river Senegal and the Atlantic.
